A Hidden Gem with Five-Star Service & Cuisine – A Graduation to Remember! I can’t say enough good things about Le Troquet in Albuquerque! We were a party of nine celebrating my college graduation from UNM on a busy Saturday afternoon, and despite the restaurant being small and clearly in high demand, they graciously accepted our reservation just an hour before we arrived. That kind of flexibility and hospitality is rare and it set the stage for an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely outstanding. The servers were kind, welcoming, and impressively attentive, always available without ever being overbearing. They made every one of us feel special and cared for throughout the entire meal. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. From starters to dessert, everything was prepared with clear attention to detail and quality. You could taste the passion in every bite. Le Troquet may be a smaller space, but the warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and truly memorable food make it one of Albuquerque’s standout dining experiences. It was the perfect place to mark such a meaningful milestone and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend. Just be sure to plan ahead if you can because this gem books up quickly!

We stopped in for lunch and we were pleased with our dining experience. The ambiance is reminiscent of a small cafe you'd see in France. There was a French speaking person should a translator was needed. The menu was simple but each item was prepared to perfection with the right amount of flavouring, there was not need for added salt and pepper at the table. We tried the following: Appetiser: Smoked Fish Platter (smoked salmon, smoked trout, candied onions with their own prepared gourmet tartar with toasted baguette) Entree: Grilled Pork Tenderloin and the special Chicken Cordon Bleu. Both were flavourful and tender! Overall, we were pleased and a place to try for either lunch or dinner.

I'm posting 5 stars but not everyone will have same experience. We made reservations for best seat in the house and we'll there is only one great table. And we had a great experience. The rest of the seating is close together as this is a small quaint place. The staff is Wonderful! The food was really good but overpriced. The wine is overpriced but the 49 bourdoux was amazingly good. The apple crepe desert was horrible, should have got the mousse.

Nice little fine dining spot. Took a last minute reservation, chill atmosphere. Cozy. The one server kept the whole place running like a fine tuned machine! Prices reasonable. Definitely reccomend

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at LE TROQUET. For appetizers, she ordered the Onion Soup and I ordered the Calamari; she said the onion soup was one of the best she ever tasted, and my calamari was mouth-watering in a tasty creamy sauce. For entrees, she ordered the Filet En Croute and I ordered the Trout Amandine. Her well-crusted filet was super tender and delicious, with a surprising layer of pate that provided an unexpected but well-balanced flavor. My trout amandine was perfectly cooked - but it was swimming in too much almond butter sauce that was rich and velvety but overwhelming the delicate flavor of the fish; I just moved my fish aside. The vegetable sides on both dishes were perfectly cooked. For dessert, we shared a Profiteroles - it was a sinfully delightful treat. The ambience was very cozy and romantic, service was excellent, and prices were reasonable for such high quality of food. Very highly recommended, even though the tables are very close together.

Went for my birthday, returning for our anniversary. I loved the food on my first visit, and have been hoping to return ever since. Everything was cooked to perfection, the bread is delicious, I had scallops (had been craving em for months) they were big enough for just a few to be filling with the thoughfully portioned rice and veggies. The steak and fries my boyfriend ordered were also magnifique. I will order creme brulee anywhere that serves it, but theirs is above and beyond. Make a reservation! We made a reservation a few days in advance, and didn't wait more than a minute or two to be seated. Customers who came in without reservations were also seated while we were there, but be aware there are about 10 tables or less, depending on party sizes, so I wouldn't walk in off the street expecting to be guaranteed a table. Je t'aime les restaurants fracais! Je visite la ville de Cannes en 2018, et j'etudie francais tous le jours pour cinq ans maintenant. Le chef du Le Troquet est tres bien, c'est mon restaurant prefere en Nouveau Mexique. Update: went for brunch. Mimosa bar (a bottle if rose, juice n 2 flutes) was 25 and plenty for 2. I had a vegetarian crepe, the bf had the steak and fries again (he loves it). Ashley was our server, he is very kind, thoughtful and very BUSY! He's serving all the tables as well as answerimg the phone but takes time to make sure everything comes out perfect. MERCI to Ashley & Le Troquet, compliments to the chef and the sous chef!

We just had a wonderful meal at Le Troquet. This is the French restaurant Albuquerque has needed since others have closed. Who remembers Cafe Jean Pierre and Chez Bob? Everything was great. We started with the French onion soup...pretty much perfect and practically a meal in itself. I had the rack of lamb, in a wonderful sauce and accompanied by mashed potatoes, carrots, baked tomato and grilled Brussels sprouts. Ms. Spouse had the steak frites. We finished with chocolate mousse which was so rich and dark that the two of us couldn’t even finish it. The space is lovely and intimate, with only nine tables, and decorated in old world style. It takes you out of the every day world and gives you a special experience. The service is attentive and the food arrives when it should. Speaking of Cafe Jean Pierre...it was a favorite of ours and we were very disappointed when it closed. Well, we found out by speaking to the staff here that the same Jean Pierre owns Le Troquet. Explains a lot. This may be a special occasion restaurant for some, and it belongs on your list of places to try.

Outstanding seafood! Good bread. Nice wine list. Incredible desserts. Fantastic service. Terrific atmosphere Exactly what we were looking for: escargot, preferably in a French restaurant. Le Troquet delivered and then some!
